Di Gong is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), Beijing, and a research fellow at the European Banking Center (EBC), Tilburg University, the Netherlands.
He is primarily interested in banking and financial intermediation. His work makes attempt to improve our understanding and the policy-making on capital, liquidity and macroprudential regulation over the banking system. Another strand of his research focuses on the drivers of securitization and its ex-post impact on the macroeconomy.
He obtained his Ph.D and research master's degree (cum laude) in economics from CentER, Tilburg University, and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Renmin University of China.
Di holds various visiting positions at London School of Economics, World Bank and Rotterdam School of Management.
