Di Gong is a Professor of Finance and the Associate Dean at China School of Banking and Finance, University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), Beijing, China.

Di obtained his Ph.D and research master's degree (cum laude) in economics from CentER, Tilburg University, and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Renmin University of China. Di holds various visiting positions at World Bank, Bank of Finland, London School of Economics, and Rotterdam School of Management. He worked as a junior research fellow at the European Banking Center (EBC), Tilburg University, the Netherlands.
Di also serves as an external expert for leading commercial banks and a consultant for financial supervisors.
